Project Manager – Switch on Solar Project: A Mumbai-based researcher, with experience in environmental research to work on our Switch on Solar project.
Assignments will include the tasks of (i) Project management including coordinating with all the stakeholders of the project such as schools, other institutions, sponsors and vendors, (ii) research and development of educational material on renewable energy for school students, (iii) conducting workshops at schools for students and staff, (iv) report writing and other documentation, (v) supervising solar installation work and performance monitoring, (vi) site visits and (vii) conducting project audits.
Applicants should have/be:
• A Master’s Degree in environmental studies or related fields
• Prior experience in conducting research and report-writing
• Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills
• Willing to work on a range of different projects
• Capable of working cohesively within a team
• Fluent in English with a strong command on vocabulary
• Conversant in Marathi
Program Manager – Urban Afforestation Project: A Mumbai-based candidate, with experience in environmental work to join our Urban Afforestation Project.
Assignments will include the tasks of (i) Project management including coordinating with all the stakeholders of the project such as on-ground partners, clients, vendors, etc. (ii) report writing including data analysis, (iii) supervising plantation work, (iv) site visits to monitor plantations, (v) planning and implementing associated activities such as research work, employee engagement programs, etc. (vi) conducting project audits and impact studies.
Applicants should have/be:
• A Master’s Degree in environmental studies or related fields
• Prior experience in conducting research and report-writing
• Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills
• Capable to work cohesively within a team
• Fluent in English with strong command on vocabulary
Junior Researcher: Preferably Mumbai-based candidate, with an environmental background to work on a variety of projects.
Assignments will include the tasks of (i) project management including coordinating with all the stakeholders of the project such as suppliers, vendors and clients, (ii) research and development of material for our carbon, solar and afforestation projects, (iii) report writing and (iv) conducting site visits as an when required.
Applicants should have/be:
• Excellent English communication and writing skills
• Prior experience in project management and report writing
• Willing to work on a range of different projects
• Capable to work cohesively within a team
• Enthusiastic and a willing learner
Media Communication and Marketing Specialist: A Mumbai-based media communication and marketing specialist to work on promoting our projects and creating relevant educational material for outreach.
Assignments would involve the tasks of (i) developing and executing marketing strategies to promote our educational and research projects, (ii) managing all social media platforms of CERE including our website by posting quality content on our diverse projects, services and accomplishments, (iii) create dynamic campaigns for the web and social media, (iv) design a variety of marketing materials including presentations, publications etc. and (v) writing content for publications and press releases.
Applicants should have/be:
• enthusiastic and willing learner
• good computer skills especially with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• social media knowledge and skills
• strong working knowledge of Canva or other design tools
• be capable of working cohesively with our team
• willing to work hard on a range of different projects and tasks with a minimum of 2 years of work experience
