1) Botanist/Forestry Expert

A Mumbai based post graduate in Botany/Forestry to work on our Urban Afforestation Project. The assignment would involve the tasks of (i) coordinating the plantation drives (ii) organizing and scheduling plantation drives (iii) keeping track of plantation & geo-tagging activities at all the partnered sites (iv) field visits – identifying the tree species and geo-tagging (v) explore the possibility of potential plantation partners (vi) report writing & presentation Applicants should be:

  • enthusiastic and a willing learner
  • identify diverse tree species
  • good inter-personal communication skills
  • capable of working cohesively with our core team of researchers
  • prior work experience in the above-mentioned areas, preferable

2) Educationist / Content Developer / Pedagogist

A young Mumbai-based Environmental Educationist needed with: Background knowledge of Environmental Sustainability essential, Pedagogical experience and expertise, Innovative and enthusiastic person.

The assignment would involve the tasks of (i) content research and development, (ii) visualization of content, (iii) production of publications, and (iv) undertaking awareness workshops for students and adults.

Applicants should be:

  • fluency and proficient in English
  • excellent communications, writing skills and presentation skills
  • preferably, worked in digital education space
  • capable of working cohesively with our core team of researchers
  • willing to work hard on a range of different projects and tasks
  • prior teaching experience preferable.

Salary and performance-based commission will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Short-listed candidates will be invited for an interview.
